Zante is a seating system specifically designed for outdoor settings. It comes with two different seat depths which lend it amazing compositional flexibility. Aside from its outstanding versatility, the sofa is also known for the ease with which the elements can be disassembled and then stacked for safe storage at the end of the season or in case of necessity. The beauty and innate strengths of iroko – a type of wood that is highly resistant to weather conditions – inspired the concept for a collection of outdoor seating pieces that, in the finest Flexform tradition, combine understated elegance and great comfort. And they are now ready to decorate decks and patios in a manner perfectly in keeping with the style of the indoor rooms. With time, iroko takes on a “weathered” look and its color tends to turn a specific shade of grey. This same shade served as inspiration for Flexform in its selection of iroko wood finishes which, in addition to grey stain, include a natural finish and a white lacquer finish. Both comfortable and casual, the Zante sofa’s generously padded seat and backrest cushions make it invitingly comfortable and casual. To ensure optimal outdoor performance, all the upholstered pieces are encased in a special lining made of breathable water-repellent fabric, while the vast collection of outdoor fabrics guarantees excellent resistance not only to the effects of weather and the sun but also to chlorine and salt water. It is strongly advised that the respective covers be used to keep the Zante sofas in top condition and prolong their original beauty as much as possible.
