Each body has mass and volume, over which the mosaic tesserae can flow.‎ But even more magical is the light produced as it streams over these phantom-like figures.‎ The colours radiate out beyond the bodies whose edge softens and become like water – sparkling and alive.‎ Simple mannequins become figures populating a scene… Sculptures where mosaic chips reflect outlines and form shapes, through color and light: they are so transparent as to become impalpable essences clothed with the liquid, crystal-clear beauty of coloured glass.‎ The result?
