Like the Twiggy family of seats, Twiggy Bed combines the aesthetics of the 1970s with refined, elegant upholstery, setting the rigorous volumes of the platform and headboard on the iconic base in brushed aluminium or Black Coffee colour. The headboard, available in two different heights, is entirely upholstered in fabric or leather and is embellished with stitching that reveals the depth of the brand’s manufacturing know-how. The platform echoes the couture aesthetic of the headboard and its multiple pocket springs guarantee a high quality of rest. Twiggy Bed family represents an ideal of timeless beauty capable of also adding a refined, yet contemporary flair to furnishing pieces for the night area. The family originated as a single armchair in the Small, Large and Deep versions, with and without armrests, but embellished with stitching that reveals the depth of the brand's manufacturing know-how combined with its great ability to make even the most sculptural seats extremely comfortable. In addition to the armchair, the range includes benches, couches, a chaise-longue and a dormeuse, which can be used as elegant individual elements to be freely inserted into the living room, creating a modular system that can be modelled as desired with the greatest of ease. A new aggregative language is born: free from schemes and preconfigurations, capable of adapting to needs in continuous evolution. The Twiggy seating elements have rigorous geometric shapes but are extremely comfortable and enveloping, covered in leather, nubuck or fabric and embellished with refined stitching. The curved, dynamic design of the base, made of brushed semi-polished aluminium or aluminium with a Black Coffee colour polished varnish, is one of the details that contribute to making these seats unique and destined to redefine the concept of style. Twiggy expands in 2023 with the addition of a new element: a dormeuse with a rigorous yet comfortable and enveloping design, distinguished by the sophisticated sartorial taste of the family of seats to which it belongs. The upholstered volumes of the backrest and seat, characterised by the unique double inclination for absolute comfort, rest on the iconic curved base in brushed aluminium or Black Coffee. The Twiggy dormeuse is enhanced by a functional upholstered element, integrated into the design of the seat by way of a special crafting technique, which can be positioned as desired and used as either a headrest or for lumbar support.
