Thékē Acciaio conjures up the atmosphere of industrial and urban settings, with raw aesthetics and iridescent colors that closely resemble the variations produced by oxidation processes and metalworking.‎ These effects can be found in the Corten, Verderame and Brunito surfaces: the iridescent pigments and rough-looking design are enhanced by the Chrome finish, which accentuates the bright variations of steel.‎ The large format (270x120 cm) is what brings out the expressiveness of Thékē Acciaio, highlighting its mysterious beauty.‎ Iris Ceramica has created Thékè, an ambitious project of porcelain stoneware and semigres floor and wall coverings with which the brand experiments, interweaves and reinterprets languages and materials to open up new design possibilities and concepts.‎ Traditional carpets (Trame), stones (Ardesia Silver, Ceppo Vulcanico and Bronzite), metals (Acciaio), wood (Tarsie), and handmade majolica (Tempere) serve as inspiration and are revisited, resulting in a library of materials endowed with sensory allure.‎ Nature and technique come together, as do craftsmanship and industrial approach, as tradition meets innovation: this exceptional intermingling led to the creation of Thékē, a collection of ceramic surfaces offering endless combination possibilities.‎ A symphony of splendor, with unprecedented levels of layering and sensoriality now made possible by Sinkcera, the state-of-the-art technology that perfectly synchronizes the movement of the surface with the image: this results in a three-dimensional, vibrant material that is exceptionally elaborate, with constantly changing chiaroscuro effects and that offers incredible sensations to the touch.‎
