Cushions, now available in every possible shape and size, are an important decorative element in any room of the house and heighten our feeling of comfort. Soft and brightly coloured, these small textile accessories can change our perception of the space, creating a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere. Roll, or roller cushions are both decorative and functional. They provide comfortable support when we are watching the television or reading and, when used on a sofa, can also double up as an armrest or give lumbar support. There are two kinds of roll cushions in the Twils collections: smooth, contemporary models and more romantic designs, whose ends are tucked in and secured by a matching fabric-covered button. Conversati-on is a ccollection of fabric materials inspired by human relationships, conceived during the Covid-19 lockdown, when social audio apps became popular and people were able to connect with each other through online conversations. Observation and direct experience of multiple types of communication became the concept behind the pattern which, indeed, symbolically represents the different types of conversation in their different form.
