SANITEC SB 18 - Modern bathtubs and shower trays are made of a special thermoformable material called metacrylate. Creating a profile in the same material ensures perfect integration of the finish of the border between the tub and the profile. The inside and terminal joints are available in the kit that serves to install a tub against the wall with masonry even on three sides. Fitting, protecting, decorating, these are the functions of this product line. Speed of application, economy and durability are some of the advantages they offer. The application of the profiles at the corners effectively and durably protects the area of the cladding that is most stressed and exposed to shocks, particularly in single-fired ceramic tiles, which are extremely fragile if glazed at the edges, and allows a considerable saving in laying time, avoiding the need to cut the tiles at 45° and to resort to special ceramic pieces, guaranteeing linearity and verticality of the edge, thanks to the straight reference of the profile. Numerous solutions for finishing internal and external corners of walls, making edges less sharp and dangerous and internal corners easy to clean, meeting current European accident prevention and health and safety regulations. Aluminium, brass, stainless steel, non-toxic synthetic materials: over 30 finishes, to be coordinated with the colour of the tiles, joints or accessories to create a decorative contrast.
