Type: Corner protection profile for ceramic coverings
ROUNDCORNER is a rounded corner stainless steel profile especially designed for the protection of ceramic wall coverings. To be installed while tiling, it provides a precise and neat finish at the same level with the tiled covering. ROUNDCORNER meets public buildings technical and safety requirements and norms mandatory in hospitals, public and food processing plants and other required areas. Joining, protecting, decorating, these are the functions of this product line. Speed of application, economy and durability are some of the advantages they offer. The application of the profiles at the corners effectively and durably protects the area of the cladding that is most stressed and exposed to shocks, particularly in single-fired ceramic tiles, which are extremely fragile if glazed at the edges, and allows a considerable saving in laying time, avoiding the need to cut the tiles at 45° and to resort to special ceramic pieces, guaranteeing linearity and verticality of the edge, thanks to the straight reference of the profile. Numerous solutions for finishing internal and external corners of walls, making edges less sharp and dangerous and internal corners easy to clean, meeting current European accident prevention and health and safety regulations. Aluminium, brass, stainless steel, non-toxic synthetic materials: over 30 finishes, to be coordinated with the colour of the tiles, joints or accessories to create a decorative contrast.
