Timeless elegance reminiscent of the Middle East, the Baroque and the Neoclassical makes the ceiling rose a true expression of decorative art.‎ A simple yet effective technique that can shape and mould the ceiling as if it were living matter.‎ This is the idea behind the series of ceiling roses arising from 9010's creative collaboration with the Studio Formidable: a desire to bring back an architectural feature that dates back to ancient times and give it a contemporary guise.‎   It's not just for decoration.‎ The geometric lines envelop and protect the light, adding structure and force.‎ The seeming balance and coldness of lines and volumes evolves and transforms, overturning basic principles.‎ This series is not static, but constantly changing, exploring classical shapes as Ritmo, to the completely organic CIMA.‎ 9010 is deeply rooted in its local area, and expresses its love for its roots in concrete action, from the recovery and promotion of artisan skills at risk of extinction to the "zero-kilometre" philosophy which chooses specialist suppliers in the local area.‎ Founded in Nove, Italy The idea, the technology and the search for materials arise from the work of Italian architects, engineers and designers.‎ The entire production is carried out at the Nove factory, and is subject to strict quality controls.‎ Located in a region with a wealth of artistic treasures and events, Nove boasts a centuries-old tradition of craftsmanship which has led to its worldwide fame as the City of Ceramics.‎ The manual arts combine with technology and high-quality raw materials until they arrive at 9010, a leading manufacturer of high-end and designer lighting with an international reputation.‎ Writing "Made in Italy" isn't enough; we have to live "Made in Italy".‎ The CIMA project is evolution and revolution, an evocative 9010 design with a sartorial style that evokes a unique, iconic bond with the land.‎ Cima is not a ceiling rose, it's a sculpture whose design recalls and pays homage to Monte Grappa, the highest mountain in the massif of the same name in the Venetian Pre-Alps, where 9010 was founded and is based.‎ Remembering the earthbound roots through the mountains, and remembering the past through light.‎
