Estudio Sancal, as a multidisciplinary team, does not feel that it has creative limits and has launched itself into a new area; that of textile design.‎ Rift is a knitted fabric designed exclusively by and for Sancal, which is inspired by the cracks on parched earth.‎ The fractured surface effect has been recreated visually and it reminds us a harsh landscape.‎ However, the skillful confection of this fabric provides it with a soft and pleasant touch.‎ Rift is a comfortable family of cushions that belongs to COSAS, Sancal’s new lifestyle range.‎ The Estudio Sancal has designed a varied assortment of sizes and interiors for these accessories, complementing the wide range of products from Sancal´s general catalogue.‎ Of course, many of our products can be upholstered with Rift fabric.‎ Finally, the Rift colour chart can be also found in the new texture finishings that are available for the Mousse seating programme and Duplex tables.‎
