PIUMA is a reclining fabric garden sofa designed by Lanzavecchia + Wai.‎ Comfort is the key element around which has been developed the new PIUMA outdoor upholstery line, designed by Lanzavecchia + Wai for MY YOUR.‎ Sofa and armchair light up the emotion of a soft embrace and bring it outdoors.‎ In fact, the purely domestic design of the PIUMA models conquers outdoor spaces, ennobling them and making them even more central to everyday life.‎ To complete the set, the line is enhanced by a pouf.‎ The essential aluminium structure supports the upholstery, making it float in the air and communicating extreme lightness.‎ The volumes "detach" from the ground and are exalted in all their essence.‎ Lines and materials wink at the world of femininity and couture: the mélange fabric that covers the polyurethane upholstery is made to withstand long exposures in outdoor environments while maintaining the special textural effect given by the original weave.‎ Available in 3 colours (grey, green, and orange), the fabric covers seats and backrests, deliberately reminiscent of classic down cushions.‎ With the same comfort, PIUMA is designed to withstand the elements and use in outdoor environments, thanks also to the osmotic membrane water-repellent lining.‎ The refined aesthetics of PIUMA is accompanied by functional qualities never seen before in the MY YOUR collections, as in the case of the reclining system which allows to lower the backrests simulating a daybed, increasing the feeling of comfort.‎ In a few gestures it changes to a more informal situation, typical of outdoor environments.‎ The modular nature of PIUMA makes it possible to recreate different settings and to assemble more pieces, facilitating its inclusion in any context, residential or contract.‎ The collection is 100 % Made in Italy.‎
