Pinch is a collection of service tables which best expresses all the poetry and lightness of Japanese design studio Nendo, under the guidance of architect Oki Sato. The structure of these tables is made of metal tubes matt painted in black colour, while the trays are made of solid cedar wood, available in raw natural or black-stained finish: the contrast between these two materials carefully defines the nature of these objects, which are extremely contemporary and characterized by absolute simplicity. Small, light and easy to move, Pinch service tables perfectly describes the measure of Japanese gesture: great control, great sophistication. Each table features the designer’s signature and the Cappellini logo, engraved under the top of the tray.
