Philosophers lounge is a lounge chair with a solid wood frame shaped as an elliptical cylinder, wide arms, and cushions. Compared to a one-seat sofa, it can be easily moved because of its light weight. Time & Style aimed to create a comfortable seat, to be used for hours and ideal for relaxation. The arms are wide and have a slight hump in the hand resting area; the sharp outline leads smoothly to the leg frame, where all the parts intersect seamlessly. The frame composition resulting from the intersection of the back column and the seat frame, and the contact point between the rear legs and the crosspiece that supports it shows structural beauty. The elliptical cylinder shape of the wooden frame makes the chair look soft and conveys a sense of dignified tension. The cushions attached to the delicately carved wooden frame are made of urethane that firmly supports the body, and feather bags wrap around them ensure a sense of softness and comfort. The gusseted cushions create a classical silhouette and give the entire chair an elegant look. The flat louvers that support the cushions are carefully chamfered one by one for a high-quality finish. The louvers also allow air to filter through the chair and wrap the belt attached to the cushion in order to fix it as desired.
