The MM8 table explores the limits of material in relation to its structural properties, exploiting the physical qualities of aluminium.‎ The construction brings an overall tension to the structure, allowing the top to reach a minimum thickness of 8 mm.‎ The weights contained inside the two cylinders increase the rigidity of the surface, counterbalancing the forces in order to ensure high stability.‎ The resulting composition gives the piece a strong monolithic presence highlighted by the accentuated contrast between the impressive volumes of the base and the extreme thickness of the top.‎
