MILANO MOOD By FAP ceramiche
Collection: Milano Mood
Manufacture year: 2021
Type: Porcelain stoneware wall/floor tiles
The collection offers a continuous play of correspondences between shapes, colours and decorations, with a surprising double soul in porcelain stoneware and wall tiles: sober and elegant in the plain colours and more evocative in the wallpaper-inspired decorations. This well-thought-out project is perfect for creating environments that envelop with discrete elegance and attention to detail. The Milano Mood porcelain stoneware floor tiles are available in a range of tones ranging from pure white – Ghiaccio – two shades of grey – Nebbia and Cemento – and two shades of beige – Sabbia and Biscotto, to an intense Dark Grey finish in three different surface types: satin, R9 and R10. The same matching tones as the floors are available for the walls, with the addition of soft, trendy colours such as Perla, Cipria, Cielo and Acquamarina, mellow and barely noticeable shades. The result is therefore subtle pervaded by beauty and harmony. As for the decorative component, the neutral tones and solid colours of porcelain stoneware are complemented by the Gocce decoration in the colours Ghiaccio and Nebbia which can be used both on walls and floors. Here, coloured fragments are included in the background with irregular density. Rounded and squared shapes, defined in scales of grey, white and opaque, fill the space like small sculptures. In a perfect chromatic blend of backgrounds and decorations, the light enhances the texture of Flower Blu – a wall sky to be caressed, reflecting on the floral lacquered surfaces – and Flower Cipria, a modern glossy/matt ceramic herbarium that brings harmony to the environment. FAP Ceramiche’s innovative technological advances has allowed this special lacquer effect to be obtained for the first time on an industrial level. Visual and chromatic dynamism meets current design and fashion trends with the Tropical panel made of highly polished lacquered leaves on the entire wall for a botanical decoration in an ultra-chic style available in Sabbia, Bianco and Nero and Verde. The result is a ceramic wall capable of creating surprising interior landscapes. The play of shapes, shadows and contrasts can also be found in the Texture Triangoli and Texture Archs patterns, with 70s-inspired matt and glossy geometries.
