Marenco has introduced a revolutionary system to assemble the cushions and armrests at the base.‎ The cushions are simply threaded into a tubular metal frame that guarantees the sofa's rigidity and durability.‎ The base is made of multilayer plywood coupled with fibre and upholstered.‎ Backrests and armrests: internal support structure in painted tubular metal.‎ Each element (backrest, seat, armrest) is individually padded and upholstered.‎ Padding in non-deformable differentiated density polyurethane foam and fibre cover.‎ Completely removable cover.‎ The unmistakable design and wide modularity still make Marenco sofa a must-have in contemporary furniture.‎ Designed by Mario Marenco in 1970, it is still a great classic of Italian design.‎ With this sofa, where the cushions have large rounded shapes, Mario Marenco has combined strength and comfort.‎ In 2007 Marenco won the Wallpaper Design Awards Best Reissues.‎
