If we are intrigued by the original shape of « Mallea – created by the 4 legs of its square structure pressing against the circular shape of the top – we are just as taken with its edged granito top, whose connection with the base is particularly well-considered.‎ Guillaume Delvigne’s intent can be seen in the design, which expresses the notions of distortion and pliability through materials which are, for all that, rigid.‎
