An expression of pop design, Libro is an armchair icon of its time consecrated by its presence in the MOMA permanent exhibition in New York. Libro is the armchair as it has never been seen before: designed by Gianni Pareschi for Busnelli in 1970, Libro is now reissued with material and colour variations and new technical devices, but in full respect of its identity. Libro, in one of its most contemporary guises, is shown with its metal frame in the characteristic Busnelli shade colour. Among the new types of upholstery, the grey velvet of the side strips contrasts with the blue or red of the seat. Its being totally disassemblable makes Libro an icon of our time. By flipping through the various parts of which the upholstery is composed, just as one does with the pages of a book, it is possible to adjust the height of the seat and backrest, to enjoy the design from new angles. Its load-bearing structure in painted metal has a central joint that supports the hinged 'pages' at the point of articulation of the frame, allowing them to be moved with ease.
