FURNISHING - LEGNO VENEZIA By Laminam

Type: Ceramic kitchen worktop

The Laminam ceramic slabs in the 1620x3240mm size, 12mm (63.‎7"x 127.‎5" in a thickness of 0.‎47") thick, are designed for the world of furnishings, as horizontal surfaces ranging from tables to kitchen and bathroom worktops.‎ Thanks to their excellent technical performance, Laminam slabs are ideal for the most delicate of uses, requiring maximum hygiene and resistance.‎ The aesthetic virtues and the large size offer a major artistic advantage, guaranteeing material continuity throughout the settings, in sophisticated, natural shades.‎ The Legno Venezia line is inspired by Briccole, those stakes famous across the globe, which have guided vessels along the Venetian canals for centuries.‎ When they are replaced due to wear caused by the effect of brackish water, the craftsmen of the Republic of Venice give them a new lease of life, turning them into items of interior décor.‎ Laminam was inspired by this hundred-year tradition and created a surface capable of replicating the essence of briccole on ceramic and the wooden vein patterns in three colours: corda (rope), sabbia (sand) and fumo (smoke).‎ Behind this process lies a careful analysis of the material being replicated.‎ The soft, warm hues of Legno Venezia and its finish make this line especially suited to interior décor, where the styling appeal of an ancient material can be combined with the glorious past and the practicality and functionality of ceramic.‎ Technical details All the surfaces in the Legno Venezia series are distinguished by the technical excellence of Laminam; they are resistant to impact, stains and scratches.‎ The versatility of ceramic means the surfaces retain their specifications even when they are exposed to heat, frost and UV rays, with an average water absorption of 0.‎1%.‎ Legno Venezia is a totally natural product that is entirely food-safe because it does not release elements in a solution (even in the event of a fire) and does not allow mould and mildew to form.‎
