The new collection of wooden surfaces developed together with Piero Lissoni presents the results of ALPI’s research on the theme of color. The protagonist par excellence of interior design, color has always been a constantly evolving field of experimentation which ALPI, like many others, has already explored and interpreted across its history, demonstrating a remarkable ability to venture beyond the natural identity of the material, proposing new conceptual dimensions. The new “French Palette” collection takes its inspiration from the French painting of the early 1700s, where the tones were often delicate, light, not without a daring touch of luminosity. A project that takes the research on color to a higher step, or perhaps a more precise, refined interpretation, conveying ALPI’s deeper sense of the material and its aesthetic culture. Each color comes from careful study, during which Piero Lissoni, together with the ALPI technical division, has measured and balanced every single nuance to achieve the desired effect. A palette of soft but forceful tones, hints of evergreens and more refined nuances like teal blue and burgundy. A chromatic path of great elegance, thanks to Piero Lissoni’s unique ability to select a range of very precise, never banal tones.
