Fold is a collection of chrome-plated tubular bathroom accessories produced by mechanical bending. With the Fold collection we wanted to emphasise the poetics of the gesture, visualising in the object the effort made to bend the tubular metal. The resulting flattened profile, usually considered a defect, is taken as an aesthetically characterising element of the object. The collection consists of shelves, towel rails, hangers and toilet brush holders.
