FLOAT | Kitchen with island By MODULNOVA
Collection: Float
Designer: Andrea Bassanello
Type: Oak kitchen with island
The Float design system comprising 15cm wide wooden slats is not limited to the wine cabinet, but is a main feature of the kitchen, heart of the home around which the view must be at 360° without interruption: whether you walk round it, place it in the centre of the room or against a wall, Float presents itself attractively from all angles. Float expresses a propensity for seeking ever innovative solutions in terms of both aesthetics and functions: the base unit handle, reduced to a simple groove, blends with the worktop to become a continuum and create something never before seen in the kitchen. The Surf floating worktop, available only in piasentina flamed stone with 4 chamfered edges and standing on a Float worktop, is prepared for inserting an integrated sink and cooking hob. The door (2.5cm thick) in 15cm wide carbon oak slats is 2cm higher than the carcase and the protrusion allows for gripping and opening the door by means of a 2cm groove made in the worktop (carbon oak). The Float wine cabinet, which can be air conditioned, comes with a glass door (width 75 – 90cm), complete with an aluminium fixing upright and fixed glazed panel (max width 150cm), through which can be seen the internal Unlimited bookcase with carbon oak melamine shelves and metal uprights. Float wine cabinet based on 15cm wide x max h. 270cm wooden slats that enclose traditional tall storage units, opened by exerting pressure on a retracting slat to access the adjoining doors. Float is ideal for those who like to fill their homes with traditional flavours and have them to hand without necessarily going down into the cellar.
