Armando Bruno is a designer from Milan by adoption, currently a partner and CEO of the Marco Piva studio. He teaches at Polidesign, SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design and collaborates with SDA Bocconi and Tongji University of Shanghai. He has also worked in the fashion world, collaborating with Aspesi, Bulgari, Jil Sander, Larusmiani, Maison Martin Margiela and Gucci, as well as having founded and curated the Spaziootto gallery in Milan. The marble and glass mirrors are described by the author as such: “The One to One Plus mirror collection evokes artistic currents of predominantly geometric orientation: a circle shape, in different formats, cut by the encounter of materials to create new geometries. The encounter between marble and glass, between weight and lightness, “One to One Plus”, the same principle, but a unique and unrepeatable result, like the veins of marble. Exclusive and numbered pieces, for a touch of uniqueness in the spaces of contemporary living. The technical challenge was to bring marble and mirror perfectly equal”.
