The project was made with the thinnest door of the flexible system All-around by Doimo Cucine. It concerns about the elegant D12, with an internal core with corrugated profile in 100% recyclable aluminum. It can be customized according to aesthetic taste and construction needs, lacquered, painted or covered, and is always characterized by high technical performance of resistance and lightness. These qualities make it possible to create large sized doors, such as those of the 90 cm wide tall units or 180 cm wide deep drawers to store as much as possible and hide from view. To achieve this, the team of Doimo Cucine Technical and R&D Offices carried out careful studies for the construction of the door with the aim to make it particularly light and very resistant. These needs have led to prefer for the qualities of aluminum and required many tests to establish the internal manufacturing of the panel, the type and arrangement of the hinges and the necessary supports. The result was a door with excellent strength performance and 60% lighter than the standard 23 mm thick door, usually used in the kitchen. The order of the composition is entrusted to the large tall units in Bronze satin lacquered finish, which stand out for their material textured and the warm colour of the finish, while easily offering a place for every utensil, thanks to their capacity, creating an elegant movement with the wooden boiserie, partially hidden. It is a ploy to increase the space available and at the same time find aesthetically appealing solutions, such as the full-height back panel in Dekton® Laurent on the wall with the built-in ovens at the best height for baking or the glass display with soft lighting. The latter is compound of wall units with doors in bronzed transparent glass and a frame in black aluminum, equipped with glass shelves with a luminous profile Glass. A scenography proposal with elements attentive to nature - glass and aluminum are always recyclable materials – addressed to the souls most interested in ecological matters but can appeal even those less sensitive to sustainability with its refinement. The large and roomy base units of the island recall the more functional ones on the wall and the boiserie in Premium Canaletto walnut veneer, a wood with warm and captivating tones that gives an intimate atmosphere to those who use the kitchen. The top of the island, with integrated welded sink, is a single thin slab in stainless steel by Barazza, completely recyclable and free of toxic emissions. Its minimal design highlights the snack top, with a round shape, a touch of softness, supported by the black 45° cut frame, on which it rests a thin layer of Dekton® Laurent. It is a material with high technical performance, composed of a mixture of over 20 natural minerals, reproduced on the nearby wall also by the top and the full-height backrest. The composition ends, restoring order and functionality, with the suspended hood that plays with volumes and spans the island along almost its entire length. A result that speaks to contemporary souls with a mix of design and industrial knowledge, able to combine style choices, original interior design and a marked concreteness that makes highly liveable, practical and efficient all Doimo Cucine.
