Capa is thermo lacquered aluminium garden armchair with armrests by GANDIABLASCO, design by Søren Rose. With iroko or dekton® armrests. Søren Rose brings the essence of Scandinavian design to GANDIABLASCO with a new collection of outdoor furniture with a minimalist feel that combines a functional sense, aesthetic sensitivity and sustainability. Between Copenhagen and New York, the designer skilfully combines opposites to give results as simple and serene as refined and elegant. Thus, CAPA constitutes a compact and versatile series, specially designed to turn an outdoor environment into an intimate and welcoming experience. “I have entered the universe of GANDIABLASCO with a proposal that evokes the Danish concept ‘hygge’, a philosophy of life that encourages to enjoy simple and relaxed plans with people we appreciate”, explains Rose alluding to a design of which she affirms that “it has a soul and appeals to you directly as a user.” CAPA is composed of seats and tables with a thermo-lacquered aluminium structure combined with a shaped aluminium plate with simple bars and curved edges. The tables, in turn, feature multiple finishes and surfaces in the innovative material Dekton by Cosentino. “We have made very clean designs that users can customize by choosing the fabric and surface finishes,” adds Rose. Thus, the soft light of the Nordic style filters into the catalogue of the Valencian firm with a timeless and sustainable proposal that is placed at the margin of passing trends. “Everything comes down to quality and details. Taking care of these two factors to the extreme allows us to achieve pieces with which we want to live, that endure and acquire meaning over time.” Collections colour sample: white, agate grey, cement grey, bottle green, sand, bronze, wine red, blue grey, grey blue, quartz grey, anthracite and black. “As a designer you always work to invent something that does not exist. It is like a constant struggle to find a purpose or a need that gives you the solution to a problem. With GANDIABLASCO we have tried to combine its minimalist universe with the Danish concept “hygge”, a philosophy of life that encourages you to enjoy simple and relaxed plans with the people you love. We hope that our collection has soul and speaks to people.”
