Debuted in 1956, the lounge chair by duo Hvidt & Mølgaard has a no-frills, streamlined form. From the hand-polished wooden frame, to its slender brass or stainless steel legs, the Boomerang endures as a masterpiece of Danish design. Material Wood, HR foam, polyester wadding, fabric upholstery, brass, and stainless steel. Production Process The frame is made from milled solid wood and the spring wires are made from plastic covered coiled spring steel. All fittings are made from lasercut metal and the brass or stainless steel legs are coned using a special tool. Upholstery Available in a variety of fabrics.
