Bamboo is a 18/10 stainless steel jug, available in three variants: polished steel, PVD Gold or silver-plated. PVD, which stands for Physical Vapour Deposition, gives the objects exceptional colours and shades. It consists of the deposition of metallic particles through vaporization in a vacuum chamber. The coating is welded on an atomic level to the stainless steel, giving the material greater hardness and resistance to rubbing and corrosion, thereby preventing the formation of rust or oxides. This is the result of a technological research, along with the endless experience in producing stainless steel that is in Sambonet’s DNA. While the silverplating, in respect to traditional process, thanks to the exclusive H§P Hard Sambonet Silverplating technique ensures greater durability and resistance to the tarnishing of the product’s silver coating. Each Sambonet silver product has its origins in stainless steel AISI 304 or alpacca silver, made 66% of copper, 13% of nickel and 21% of zinc and enriched with 999.5% pure silver. The Bamboo collection offers elements for cafès, as well as a series of table accessories and cutlery with a characteristic oval section, which in a contemporary way are inspired by the organic design of the 1940s.
