Balcony Acoustic Systems By Bruag
Type: Engineered wood sound insulation panel
Balcony Acoustic Systems are produced in CELLON® or in FORMBOARD TOP PINE®. Material CELLON® panel is a high-pressure laminate panel (HPL Compact or solid core panel) consisting of 70% cellulose webs and 30% phenolic resin. The extremely weather and frost-resistant material is ideal for outdoor applications. The HPL panel convinces with absolute moisture resistance and minimal expansion. In contrast to conventional HPL panels, CELLON® is characterized not only by the variety of shapes and colors available, but above all by its natural appearance. The colour is applied directly to the resin and thus the top layer, which means that the sterile resin surface does not stand out, but rather the selected color concept is ideally emphasized. The FORMBOARD TOP PINE® panel is a high-density wood-based panel bonded with polyurethane. The material is moisture and temperature resistant and is used in protected outdoor areas. The advantage of FORMBOARD TOP PINE® is above all its price efficiency and ecology. It is a product in which the sawdust from wood processing is reused. A special gluing process makes this board suitable for outdoor use. The ideal application is in the structurally protected façade area and as roof soffits including terrace acoustics. However, the surfaces of the boards may change somewhat over time, i.e. become rougher, for example. Formats The raw panels are project-specifically cut to the desired dimensions using laser technology (including drill holes). You choose the width (x) and the length (y) of the panels individually. Do you want round cuts or additional cut-outs? Simply draw them in your DXF plan and they will be manufactured to size. Colours and Surfaces Whether contrasting or harmonious, you can choose from over 3,000 colours according to RAL or NCS S and combine them with a black or white fleece. Alternatively, the CELLON® panel is also available in wood or stone decor. Design The more open space the selected design has, the higher the sound absorption. Our design collection has numerous perforation suggestions that are ideally suited for this (note the marking) or you can create your own design and we will implement it. In this way, aesthetic is optimally combined with function. Construction Solutions Due to the large design variety of the perforated FORMBOARD TOP PINE® or CELLON® panels, it is easy to select beautiful patterns with a proportion of open area of 40% and more. The openings of the perforated panels are covered by a fleece on the back. For an optimal sound absorption value, the construction is supplemented with a sound absorber and an air space behind it.
