From the very first glance, the Aldar collection differs from ordinary handles in its delicately feminine 'flavour'. In fact, the soft, sinuous shapes are reminiscent of the women portrayed by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, one of the greatest exponents of neoclassical painting. One of the stylistic traits of this great artist was to favour the overall balance of the composition over the single element, a choice also made by Linea Calì designers in giving shape to this "seemingly" simple handle.
