It shares the balanced structure of A Chair in the Forest, but opts for a classic woven rattan back for utmost lightness.‎ A Chair Outside the Cage is made by artisan craftsmen from the Hida-Takayama area in Japan, renowned for centuries for their woodworking skills.‎ The result? A chair made of bleached or charcoal gray beech wood that is light, elegant and easy to move.‎ Materials: FRAME: snow white or grey charcoal-stained solid beechwood, finished with transparent water-based or solvent-based coating.‎ UPHOLSTERED SEAT: structural fabric for seat support, padded with polyurethane foam.‎ BACKREST: straw backrest with natural cane bark.‎ EXTERNAL COVER: non-removable cover in grey fabric or dark brown leather.‎
